October 22, 2007 - Great Pumpkin Race 2007

The DB Motorsports crew returned crew returned home to BeaveRun Motorsports Complex for the annual Great Pumpkin 2-day event. DB Motorsports driver Brian McHattie would compete both days on his Cook Racing Engines Vortex Rok TT powered Kosmic T-11.

Saturdays event saw the track management have the race run in the reverse direction. The weekend started off in excellent fashion qualifying in P2 for the pre-final alongside the cook powered kosmic machine of Matt Machiko. The prefinal was an exciting event with Machiko ousting Mchattie for the win and pole for the events final. In the final, Mchattie got a spectacular start at the drop of the green and was able to hold off Machiko to lead flag to flag for his first victory of the weekend.

Sunday saw the team picking up right where it left off on Saturday. The DB crew made constant changes throughout the day and came away with the sweep of the day by setting fast time in qualifying, winning the prefinal and final flag to flag. Also sweeping the main events for the weekend winning on Saturday and Sunday.
